Brazil is a vast nation, though all we ever see is a Christ Redeemer Statue, that is essentially not really old. Are there any hull or very old things in Brazil? What about alternative chronological sites?

I don’t think there’s much in the way of pre-Columbian sites in Brazil. Here’s one (it’s in Sao Paolo):
Brazilian Stonehenge – http://www.livescience.com/history/060628_ap_brazil_stonehenge.html
It looks interesting, but it seems like something you’d see, take a few pics, and go back to the hotel.
