On the other hand you are close to the Czech border and not too far from Pilzen and Budweis,where you could taste some REAL beer instead of the rice brew they sell you as such in the US.LOL. There is the possibility to travel by rail(be prepared to change trains often) and from Nürnberg or Munich you can fly to anywhere in the world.
