Your figures for the CPV are roughly correct at the moment ($66,870), but they are expected to rise from 1st July - the rumour is that it will be a 20% rise but AFAIK it's only a rumour with no firm announcement. You can get the CPV in 2 stages 2 years apart to stretch the payment a bit. 1st stage is currently $40,690 and 2nd stage is $26,375. Your parents must also pass the Balance of Family test where at least half of their children must be permanently resident in Australia OR they must have more children permanently resident in Australia than in any other single country.
