I commend you on your desire to help the poor and orphaned. India truly does struggle with its large number of poor. Here is a link to a webpage that lists several Asian orphanages.

India *doesn’t* deal with orphans and the poor. That’s about 2/3 of the total population there. In FACT, Indians from the upper classes believe that the poor are incapable (mentally) of bettering their own lives. It’s a vicious cycle. You can hate the USA all you want, but at least we don’t (always) instantly write so many people off as being mentally incapable of bettering their station in life.

It’s called "The Streets".
The worst you don’t know about is people that take these kids in. They’re kept alive long enough so their organs can be harvested and then sold on the black markets. Not to mention other things such as child prostitution, children forced into working in sweat shops.
This isn’t only India, this kinds of things are happening to children throughout the East, Middle East, Eastern Europe and even in the underworlds of the West.
How do you plan to help them all?
